We Are The Ocean ready to rock Rescue Rooms

Bands that perform with the energy that ‘We Are the Ocean’ provides are few and far between. Complete vocal prowess and crunchy guitar licks have always been on tap since their formation in 2007; providing a gritty alternative experience that is not to be missed.

Their fourth studio album ‘Ark’ was released in May this year presenting amazing singles such as ‘Holy Fire’ and ‘Do It Together’. These singles contrast quite heavily, flaunting the foursomes’ wide skillset fantastically. ‘Do It Together’ keeps us close to the rugged vocals and heavier guitar effects that the group have always been masters at, giving a sound the crowd can only love. ‘Holy Fire’ takes a more soft, indie approach, all contributing to a varied album that’s heavily addictive, and ready to please. It’s no surprise ‘Ark’ ranked 4th best album in the UK Official Rock Chart this year.

After playing at Reading and Leeds festival this summer, We Are the Ocean were a strong support for Mallory Knox in Rugby and also performed in the Breakout Festival, Brighton. This November the band are back on the road for 10 nights touring the UK, landing right here in Nottingham on the 18th for a show to be remembered. Playing alongside both Tall Ships and Allusondrugs, you don’t want to miss this one!
