The Stranglers are heading to Nottingham to showcase their legendary 1978 Black and White album, playing it in its entirety for the first time in 40 years.
Black and White was one of the most influential albums released in the 1970s, inspiring the formation of a whole new breed of punk rock bands. Cornerstones of the album include ‘Tank, Toiler on the Sea’ and their brilliant cover of ‘Walk on By’ which was voted to number 3 in BBC Music’s Top 50 greatest cover versions in 2014. As well as the complete performance of Black and White The Stranglers will also play a selection of old and new favourites.
As one of the most influential and successful British punk bands The Stranglers continue to gather more and more fans both old and young. Public demand has never been so high to see their gigs and festivals across the world.
They play at Rock City in Nottingham on the 7th March 2016.
