The Mic brings you our first live event of the year – The Mic “Unplugged” (please note that microphones will in fact feature!) The gig is this tonight in The Studio Live next to Mooch.
The Lineup is as follows:
19:30 – Will Rhys Richards University of Nottingham Student Will Rhys Richards joins The Mic for our first gig of the year. He’ll be playing an acoustic set, showcasing his rich voice to all the students of Nottingham in a chilled atmosphere at our unplugged session. He’s an act to keep an eye out for in the near future as he takes his first steps onto the music scene.
20:00 – Julia Joyce A singer performing jazz and funk influenced covers.
20:30 – Fata Morgana Twisted, disjointed folk with traditional roots and a glimmer of the unknown, each song tells a tale and carries the listener on a journey of discovery. 21:00 – Sweet Malaise
A 5-piece alternative band playing a stripped back acoustic set. Expect moody tunes and intricate noodling.
