The Courteeners ready for Rock City

The rise of the biggest underground band in the country continues with The

Courteeners landing in Nottingham tomorrow night for a sold-out show at Rock City. The band’s ever-

growing reputation has only been furthered by their new album ‘Mapping the Rendezvous’ and the

indie-rock band, formed 10 years ago, will bring their new songs together with their old classics in a

show which is sure to lift the roof off.

Just over a year on from Heaton Park, one of the biggest gigs in Northern England in recent

times, the Manchester band continue to perform. Led by lead singer Liam Fray, the band are sure to

be joined in chorus by their adoring fans. Old crowd favourites such as ‘Not Nineteen Forever’,

Bide Your Time’ and ‘Sycophant’ along with the likes of ‘Modern Love’ and ‘The 17th ’ from the new

album, are sure to make for an electric atmosphere amongst the crowd for this sold out gig.

The Courteeners’ incredibly relatable song lyrics only help to enhance their fan base and as

with every Courteeners gig, those seeing the band for the first time will not be left unsatisfied and

are sure to leave the gig belting out the chorus to ‘What Took You So Long’.

Welcome To The Rave…
