Stiff Little Fingers come to Rock City on the 11th March

This week will see Stiff Little Fingers back in Nottingham – the veteran punks will play through a selection of their back catalog both new and old – expect to see an energetic set filled with catchy hooks.

The band themselves grew up in in Northern Ireland –and have gone to inspire many punk bands now, writing political and personal lyrics with attitude to match. I last saw them play on their 2014’s ‘No Going Back’ tour and it was one of the sweatiest and amazing shows ever – with a mixed age group of youngsters and older folk. They’ll be playing at Rock City as part of their most recent UK tour before heading out to festivals this summer including Bearded Theory, T in The Park and Rebellion. If you haven’t got plans this Friday and you like a dance or a mosh and you like punk music then you’d be a fool to miss this.

Support comes from Ricky Warwick, the recent lead singer of Thin Lizzy. He’ll be joing SLF on their tour to showcase his solo material with his band The Fighting Hearts.
