Preview: Beat The Streets

The end of January is rapidly drawing near, and that can only mean one thing: Beat The Streets is back! On this coming Sunday 26th, Nottingham’s finest venues are due to lay out their stages for a full day packed with the best music the city has to offer.

Since its launch in 2018, the festival has become a well-established event on the local calendar. Beat The Streets gives you the chance to sample the finest artists from across the region, whilst also checking out some of Nottingham’s greatest venues.

As always, all proceeds from tickets, bar and merch will go directly towards improving the lives of homeless people in Nottingham via the charity Framework. Since the festival’s conception the total raised for the charity stands at £490,000, with this figure sure to grow even more with your help! If you're interested in looking into more of what Framework do, you can check out their site here.

Tickets are priced from a minimum donation of just £15 and are available now! Show your support and get yours here!

The range of talent on offer this year includes the striking, ever evolving Blood Wizard. Fresh off the back of his 2024 album Grinning William, this is surely not an act to miss. Elsewhere, the agenda seems endless. It’s tough to narrow down the options, but some other highlights might include Davoli, for those looking for some cosy folk inflections to warm their January blues, or alternatively Swallowtail for some more gritty shoegaze sensibilities.
