None the Wiser is due for release January 20th 2014 and brings this 4-piece band album tally to four. Joining their 2006 debut No Love Lost, 2009’s The Great Escape and 2011’s Freedom Run, their latest release promises to bring their trademark Mod and indie pop sound which was present in their previous releases.
The band, drawing influence from Dylan, Talking Heads, The Clash and The Beatles, have combined their unwavering creativity and song writing talent to produce this album from Cooking Vinyl records. With super-charged rock ’n’ roll tracks like Heebie Jeebies and simply psychedelic with You Win Some the band will expect continued success in the charts and expand their already large following, with high profile fans like Paul Weller.
The album was recorded by reformed original line up of Joel Stoker (vocals, guitar), Lucas Crowther (guitar, vocals), Robert Pyne (drums) and Grant Marsh (bass) at Paul Weller’s Black Barn Studios.
The Rifles will be playing Rock City on the 23rd of November, with tickets available on www.therifles.net. None the Wiser is out on January 20th 2014.
