Toronto’s dwelling duo, Moon King are back with their quintessential, emotion grasping new EP Secret Life, which will come through Last Gang Records in the beloved UK on the 13th April, and iTunes release worldwide the day after. The sound from their new project is simply organic, with just the right mix of harmonic and electrifying. The album opener, ‘Rosewell’ can be heard below:
They’re kind of a big deal. Back in the depths of 2013, known to us as Moon King, singer/songwriter Daniel Benjamin and singer/guitarist Maddy Wilde discovered their compatibility and passions, leading to player over 100 shows in North America. Their live music just captured the essence of whatever genre they merge into, they did it well. The raw energy from this EP is just what our music scene here needs; electronic-indie-esq vibes stripped back with the sublime melodic vocals. The emotion and self-doubt, makes Moon King lyrically passionate.
