If you’re looking for the love-child of Simon O’Neil and Eddie Vedder with just a hint of Mike Duce, look no further than David Jakes and the rest of the band from Lonely The Brave.
Following the success of their first headline tour in 2014, and after landing themselves a spot at Reading and Leeds last summer, the Cambridge-born alternative rock band are bringing their success and epic, seditious sounds to Nottingham Rescue Rooms this November. Their set is bound to feature songs from their critically acclaimed debut album ‘The Days War’ which has been branded by NME as ‘wonderfully cohesive’ and ‘carefully constructed’ with other sources claiming the five-piece will soon be up the rankings, claiming the headline spot of Reading and Leeds and other renowned festivals in years to come. So if you’ve been kicking yourself about missing Pearl Jam, Biffy Clyro or Young Guns at their peak, then Lonely The Brave are not one to miss.
