Keep warm on this cold night with Honne

Get set for laid back vocals and shimmering percussion as Bow boys Honne take over the Bodega for an intimate gig.

The electro-soul duo is made up of vocalist and producer Andy Clutterbuck and producer James Hatch. The pair have been making music that sounds like “something you might listen to on a late night summer drive through a city with the windows down” ever since they met in their first week at university.

Though Honne might originally hail from the sleepy south west, their move to East London’s gritty Bow has given their music an urban, late night groove, earning them comparisons with Frank Ocean and James Blake.

2015 has been a good year for the Bow boys – after their track “Warm On A Cold Night” was picked up by BBC Introducing they have gone from strength to strength, supporting Kwabs on his UK tour and playing at BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend and Latitude Festival amongst other things. With the promise of a debut album in early 2016, now is the perfect time to get into this duo’s soulful and seductive sound.

Catch Honne on Monday 19th October @ The Bodega.
