Highly Suspect opened up the Carnival of Madness tour in style

Highly Suspect set off the ‘Carnival of Madness’ tour with hit songs from their debut album including ‘Bath Salts’ and a much applauded performance of ‘Lydia’. They were a fantastic start to the night, and even had those who were new to the band dancing along.

Their live performance left little to be desired, with lead singer Johnny Stevens bringing every quality of their album ‘Mister Asylum’ into live sound with full force, and using his vocal talents to wow the ever growing crowd.

All three members had endless amounts of energy, with each song better than the last. They ended with ‘Claudeland’, which was a huge highlight to the whole night; such a fast paced, intense song really got us ready for the other three bands.

The whole band brought a great vibe to the start of the night, and thanked the crowd for their support. You could easily see why this band is compared to Royal Blood and Queens of the Stone Age, their stage presence and consistent brought the arena to life. Highly Suspect were a really exciting band to see and are definitely a new favourite of mine!
