Folk is brought back to Rock City by Skinny Lister

They are set to support Frank Turner & the Sleeping Souls two nights in a row.

Skinny Lister, the 6-piece band born and bred in the heart of London are bringing a whole new sound to our fierce Rock City. The headline of the night is the lovely Frank Turner & the Sleeping Souls and other support includes Will Varley, a London based singer-songwriter. It’s been a while since our beloved Rock City has been captured by folk music, which sure makes a change. Uplifting beats, body shaking twangs, and shoulder-swaying softness are all to be expected, which will build a great sense of anticipation for the crowd.

Skinny Lister are supporting the UK leg, across 8 cities, and over a month. All three acts mesh so well; the Nottingham date proven to be popularly sold-out, an executive decision to tour for another night in our great city was the right choice.

Having released a few singles recently here there including, ‘Trouble on Oxford Street’, ‘Cathy’, ‘This is War’ and ‘This City’, fans are eagerly waiting for their folky Londoner’s third studio album. We hope the gripping set will have the crowd jumping up and down right to the end of the gig. Their part of the tour will end in London, to which then Frank Turner & the Sleeping Souls shall be heading to the European and North American tour.
